Trout Derby 2021

His tiger was 18” and must’ve been 5 lbs. pics failed it, freak holdover, 3 of them I’ve chased a second year now, and he catches it on his 5’ special and gob of poop colored powerbait, it’s a racket I swear, probably pays the owner to feed them powerbait paste or something.

He’s about 5’8” and 230 lbs for reference. He complained pics make fish look tiny. I think it’s a different issue of scale LOL

Hit it hard today, not as many pics but PN rainbow and plenty of huge trout, straightened a few hooks too all at a new creek. Y’all get another reprieve from me this week, I fly out to Midway tomorrow and not back until late Friday

Couple of others, somewhere over ten and last one I dinked with eventually straightening hook, had waders off and got a quick second chance, videoed instead and eventually saved me to release, think I’m up to date on days now, I’ll show some of the girls from yesterday if I get some from the mom who was there. I was flat out so not as many pics

A little walk down the stream today. Had one rainbow another on and off and one fall fish. Then Michael decided to do a cannonball and scare them all away LMBO!!

Waded a local stream, caught 3 trout and a Smallie. Had 2 others on and off. Quick outing but it produced.
