It’s mushroom season again

I made one of the best burgers I’ve ever had the other day burger a little garlic salt and pepper mixed with the meat then hen of the woods and onion slow cooked try the mushroom really not bad but nothing special added a little bit of everything bagel seasoning not a lot but some and it at least in my and the boy’s eyes and stomach it was wonderful no Mayo or mustard nothing else just burger shrooms onion and that darn bagel mix whoops forgot the cheese

I’ve had puffballs before breaded and fried in butter not bad but they suck up a lot of grease been thinking of trying a air fryer find out next year.The gem studded puff balls are good to but much smaller just stay away from the pig skins they are black or purple in side when you cut them

I hear they got to be really fresh. Didn't eat it thought it was getting old but maybe next time I'll get one to try.

Fresh for sure just give them a little squeeze they should feel pretty firm not to soft all the rain we’ve had is pretty hard on puffballs they suck up a lot of water.They will taste like what you put on them they don’t have a strong shroom taste but not bad but as normal try a little before you indulge too much whoops pure white inside not tan of yellowing there shot at that stage

Mushroom season means different things to different folks. Had the Hidden Lake Special for Brunch.

Looked like a common toadstool to me but was huge. I was saving it for you and Melvin to try. Im not trying it...I lost 10 taste testers this year alone. o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
