I like Sea Dogs for flush mounts and Scotty (cabelas, Bass Pro same thing) for ones that stick up. I see both on regular boats all the time.

Well I looked at a bunch but there all 30 bucks x 8 no way it’s not that I plan on using 8 at a time but I want to if needed

I have both of these the scotty is clumsy and the zinc one works well but is clanky and noisy. Gotta be something in btwn. downeast. Whatever you choose make sure you choose the correct mounts/extensions.

I have both already and the clanking aluminum ones work very well just noisy great design same set in carbon would be awesome the only type I like would be the type that when you grab the rod they tilt up letting you make the hook set in the holder then remove the rod to fight the fish but once again at 30+ each not happening one nice thing about monster is that I can mount 8 bases without having to put the holders out and there’s almost nothing to catch stuff on.Monster is just a company that’s making a wire holder that’s been around for years but selling them in sets and different angles and made in USA no less pretty much indestructible
