Buddy got a 21 1/2" smallie below local Hydro Plant this past Wednesday. First cast using a crayfish for bait. Not much weight for its length. Took a trip north of us and spent last evening. Couple dozen landed with 19" largest. Most all on topwater.

Dad found this massive State Game Land shed Saturday 4/2. Have him frequent on camera in velvet, then he disappeared! Come last week he was back in the open woods of SGL dropping his rack! Measured 72 2/8". Booner for sure! Many days will be spent searching for the larger left side.

My dad went to a county reservoir chasing crappie mid week. Caught a couple nice ones along with some perch, bass and bluegill. Went back this past weekend and the remaining ice mass was blown back over the once open shallows. No fishing at all.

Found a few by chance in the spring while trout fishing or turkey hunting. Dad and nieces husband has found several this season along with a couple matching sets. Couple deer we had on camera or seen on the hoof.

For my boy. He and his buddies go 'micro fishing' in local streams along rail trails right down the road. New micro magnet set. 1/200 oz jig head.

For the sportsmans club tournaments I have taken kids to the GARLIC by far out fishes all other offerings. Don't recall color... think it is a blend orange/green. Wouldn't touch the stuff otherwise.

Gonna take a walk tomorrow. Word of big crowds and little offerings. Vendors down 25% I could always use a new pair of boots. And actually looking for a builder for a backyard pavilion/outdoor kitchen for the new pool.
