I only fished it once and the day I did was around this time of year. A bass fisherman near me got one to surface but then broke off. It’s a deeeep lake. I’m fine with Tusky.

OK, there it is

Tuscarora lake

Everybody start talking about who is bringing what. I'm bringing the jinx. No one will catch any fish while I am there and A-5s muskie will tail walk and blow raspberries at him ;)

I have a Pop-up 10x10. The parking lot at the ramp is very exposed and of black hot Asphalt so shade is important if we meet there. I could call to see if there is a waterfront pavilion near there. So far there are only three of us committed so a pavilion isn't necessarily needed.

I modified my initial reply, the 2nd post in the thread, with the updated info above. I'll update it and add people as they chime in. It's about 1.5 hours for me too, which is easy for me.

I am interested. Not sure what the approach to the day is though, I guess that depends on the amount of people? I see that lake is electric only, my boat would work nice there even though it has a 20 on the back. I have plenty of battery juice for the TM to pull me or a +1 around all day.

Actually let’s make it 1 pm to eat and stretch stories. Then whomever wants to come early to fish can and not miss any of the morning bite. I personally like fishing late in day.

Can be both. Meet at 0900 for those that want to fish first and call lunch at 1. We can all meet up and take a food break before returning to fishing.

I looked and there are pavilions available for that day, if we get more people we can reserve one to have a home base. I didn't look at campsites or anything.

Um. I can’t answer that. I’ll actually be up there in August. I have to cross reference the dates. It’s May. And I’m busier than busy at the moment
