We’re in the same boat TC except mine is in Utah this week. I won’t be able to fish for weeks. Dang it.

I actually got out there again Monday and think I have the hang of it now. Not that I'm good, but just that I'm functional. So thank you everyone who gave useful advice, so that's everyone but Don ;).

Have another question but the pics are still on my phone so I'll try to post it later.

Not specifically a baitcaster question, but more of a lure question. I've had these for a long time but never used them much. the swivel is sliding up the wire and that is changing how they perform. With the 2nd bait pictured it interfered with one of the spinners.

What do I do about that?

Yes, I agree with that guy! If I need swivels I usually put them 2-3 feet or more up the line. And I almos never use whale sized snap swivels. But u do what you want and I’ll catch fish. Just like the last time🧨

Picked up a baitcasting 6.5’ medium heavy Ugly Stick with an Big Red Ambassador reel on it for $20. I plan to use it for trolling.

Then for $2 they threw in a 920 Ocean City and some weights and spinner blades and shafts.

Lastly there was a cabelas bag, actually a Plano 3600 with cabelas written on it, and it was 2$. This will be for the weights and baits for for plastics. I will need to purchase the boxes but I just saw this bag 💼 for 69$ at cabelas.

If you don't want waterproof I have regular 3600s coming out of.........well, I have a lot. I replace them all with waterproof so the regulars ones are taking up space in my storage unit. How many do you want?

probably four. I didn’t know there were water proof. When I get home from my galavanting around I want to measure it up and then we can demo it at memorial.

If you want those you are on your own.

If you want the ordinary ones I replaced with those I'll bring some next time we meet up, or if that is going to be along time off I can ship them.

I have that covered with 7’ baitcasters. I was thinking that in the lake in Jersey where they have lake trout it would be nice to fish 60 or 100 feet straight down with tubes or minnow. I would just drift on the wind over points where they suspend.
