Canoe Registration??

Just bought a 14’6” canoe. I’m confused as to what registration is needed, if any at all. It will be unpowered, but I do plan to use it at state parks and pfbc launches. I think all I need is a launch permit, but am not sure if that is good at dncr lakes.
Does anyone know for sure what is needed?

Hey Dubya, The only time you'll want a registration is when traveling to other states but I'm not sure it applies to human powered only. These are nuances you have to define. If you ever want to put a trolling motor on it you'll want to have it listed as a motorboat. Troutspinners link is good and they're allot more helpful by phone then they used to be. I'm not trying to set off any alarms but I do suggest you read it all thoroughly so you don't get a surprise.
