Just passed through DC. At least half dozen Police, Military, and plow trucks at EVERY exit of ALL major routes. Police officers and National Guard members walking around sides of highways. They are already causing traffic issues. Several accidents and numerous near misses at all these locations. Best to AVOID the area for the next week at all cost!
We have a dozen families traveling home from Richmond from a tournament. Everyone was directed a different way home by their GPS. Situation same for all routes.
