FG Knot

I swore in another thread I would not get into the FG Knot but I have to admit, I really like it. I fished it today and the way it slips through the guides is worth learning IMO.

I am not fast enough to tie it in the field yet but because the knot slips through the guides so well, I am making my leaders much longer that will last me through a few breaks.

I have to make one of them. I haven’t lost any high dollar items yet but a few football jigs start to add up.

TS. Go buy a extending painting pole. Get creative on the end.
50’ dog leash with a type of hook and heavy weight. You look like a monkey F wait family show here. Literally not easy by yourself with a trolling motor, knocker and a fish pole. But you do get your stuff back.
