Jerk baits vs Crank baits

I like the old black over silver rapala jerk baits. 3". Had one as a kid and caught allot of bass on them. I've been walking by all the used gear at flea mKts but now I think I'm ready, having all the reel I like and rods to swing, to focus on terminal gear and hard baits. For now I'll focus on getting the jerk baits I want and I want the old skinny original models in perch, black and brown trout. There are five categories I'm interested in:
1) spinners - traditional inline types
2) Jerkbaits and crankbaits
3) spoons, Casting not jigging
4) unique floats
5) used line, hooks and other hardware in good shape.

Melvin, none of these are on my ever growing wishlist.

Old line can be a big problem. UV and time break it down, and it develops memory.

Try to get some rainbow patterns of Rapalas and similar baits. Rainbow seems to outperform all other colors/patterns generally.
