Picked pickerel yum
Yes indeed I'm listening....what?
I did meet a couple folks that said walleye don't require anything special. I find that hard to believe.
Ever person does different things sometimes they work sometimes they don’t but keep every note in your head if need be write it down no joke listen to uncle mel
Don don’t you think that the people who make the wire would put a bad knot on the back of the spool you will soon see that simpler is better when working with wire I watched the video and they all are either a clinch knot or a snell knot of some type I do like the Albright knot for joining wire to mono but kinda bummed they didn’t show a loop knot check out Berkeley knot wars on the web you will see that they compare almost every knot against the palamar knot witch I use on almost everything except for loop knots or if I have a hook eye that’s just to small to fold your line and get it through but you can even get past this if you pass the line through the eye and then run the tab back through the eye again problem is ever once in a while you will twist the line and it loses some of in strength in this case if there’s one knot you should learn it’s the palamar honestly its super simple and one if not the strongest knots you can tieI'm sorry Melvin but I want to use the fancy stuff, I need to have something to brag about at parties and so forth (since I don't seem to catch fish).
I'm thinking of the Trilene, uni and simple knotless snell. I was going to use the TC knot but I can't afford to loose that many hooks.
Do you folks think 15 lb 7wire is too heavy?
