With some of the western states I'm surprised that you're allowed to use fishing line.
If you wanted to make crank bait or jerk baits similar to Rapala how are the hooks attached? Do they pass through the body? I've never seen a rapala with the anchors pulled out.

I’ll be in Idaho next two week. Fishing regs say that you may not even possess lead. I wonder when we can pour tungsten ?

Where did you find that? I can only find this;

Why can you fish with lead but not hunt with it?
