It seems no members are catching anything else at blue marsh. Why not snakeheads.

Damn. Sucks that someone put them in there but now I want to fish there even more. May have to take my chances with getting run over.

They ain’t as easy to catch as you would think. They are aggressive but not stupid. Best taken with a bow.

BOW AND ARROW (including compound bows and crossbows) may be used for taking ONLY carp, suckers, and catfish on all Commonwealth waters, day or night, with the following exceptions: (1) bow fishing is strictly prohibited in stocked trout waters during the closed season and (2) bowfishing is strictly prohibited in special regulations trout waters.

It would make sense to have this regulation not apply to invasive species, though I can find no evidence that have done that.

But if you were looking at a snakehead in the water, could you tell it from a bowfin?

I’m pretty sure guys are bow fishing for them. They are easy to see but not so easy to catch.

Wait a minute. Just looked it up. Your right, it’s not legal in Pa. Hmmmmmm
