With these it takes a little more dry time but the finish is nicer than sharpie in my humble opinion

Haven’t done night fishing for awhile but when I did, used to lay around and try to count how many shooting stars I could see. Definitely some real peace and quiet.
The best is hearing them jump, getting them to hit and not hooking them.
Quite a few years ago, I was night fishing with a lantern close to the water on the bank. The lantern was 20 feet behind me, fished for 2 hours and not a bite. I could hear them jumping so I knew they were there. I got disgusted walked over to the lantern, bam there they were feeding off mosquitoes attracted by the light.

For bass at night I go without any light at all. It could be they was a hatch going on and the fish were keyed in on that.
