Anyone try these Countdowns. I bought them for the Snake and liked them.

I’ve had a few many many years ago and never caught a thing on them. Since I have zero confidence in them I’ll never buy another. Kind of like rattle traps.

Well they work in the Snake for trout. On the east coast I’ve never caught a thing on Rattletraps either. Maybe that is how these countdowns will be as well.

They work if you put them in front of fish. I've mainly used them in a trial and error manor since I can't figure out the fish finder. Count them down to a depth, then to another depth, then to another depth, until you run out of depths. If you know how to read your fish finder you can probably pick a more likely depth right off the bat.

I’m sure they work, they have been around for a long time. They just don’t work for me. Just like rattle traps.
