Six Osprey were working the lake hard yesterday. They are way better at catching panfish than I am. There was an immature Bald Eagle eyeing it up from a high perch. My whole life I wanted to go way back into the pads and I finally did so in their absence. Dis-appointing, the water is only 8-15"deep. Anyway I was casting for panfish and only caught a young 11" bass. Here is the fly I used, Estaz and Mariboo, it has a wonderful action:
