Short strikes from trout and fall fish don't stand a chance.
TIP
Let the fish hook them selves don't lift

I like catching sizable fallfish. Its hard to not lift. After a lifetime of yanking the hook out of fish its hard to change. It also means that the hook better be sharp. Nice to see you score these fish.

Is this your invention? It looks very nice and is similar to Gartside and Flatwings. Love the stinger.

Eyes are not really needed. The tight line takes are awesome. Down and across swing.20210428_002105.jpg

Nope and the stinger is the only hook once it's finished front hook gets cut at the bend. This pattern is an intruder style, unwieghted for running on a mow tip.
I see no reason to buy the Chuck for a straight shank when I have 100s of light wire 4 and 6x long hooks. Once I cut the hook pinot off I UV resin the sharp cut

If ya own it use it. I just thought there was a deeper reason for I thought thee a person of depth. Ha!
I'm a fan of anything that has the hook far back and contains soft hackles. Nice.

The big reason for the design is for tail nippers. I find I hook more with this compared to a woolyhugger or sculpin. Now remember I'm talking on a down and across swing. If I'm throwing buggers or sculpin up stream and then coming down and curling around I one don't use a sink tip. With these I'm breaking down sections of fast water at the head of a hole.

Oh ya also like the side jaw hook ups for c/r. Ya see the fish hit and then turns and almost every time hooks them selves because of the speed of the water. Hope that makes sense.

HD that's why I switched to these. On the tunk and the wyalusing Creek there's such a mixed bag trout fall fish smallies walleye chans.i wanted something to cover the board without changing patterns so far my hook up rate is over 80%. Trout and fall fish don't stand a chance lol. These guys are definitely going north for chrome!

I'm the new guy. I'm watching. Short strikes are an issue with me as well but on lakes I think it is smaller fish.
