My. Buddy gets irritated when you say rubber worms. I think I’ll always in a way think of them as rubber worms.

Joking aside, this is going to be difficult without joking, I would say rubber for worms, and plastic for hard baits, though I usually just say the name of the bait (worm, creature, crank, jerk, etc).

Allow me to assist

Rereading this thread and others made me realize a few things.

You can jerk your crank.

You can also crank your jerk.

We all know worms are soft, creatures are soft, and cranks and jerks are hard. But craws can be hard or soft, so they are trans. Now you can jerk or crank both a soft worm, and a hard stick so you can clearly jerk or crank your craw.
