Where Eagles Dare

I was at UPPER WOODS yesterday. Michael and Sheila need to learn this lake. It is awesome. I wanted to learn to catch suspended fish in deep deep water. I found lots of giant Punkinseed ( all big Bulls , I believe) right in the middle of the lake 15-35’ deep. Had a blast. They were all huge. Then I caught one Big Bow from below the thermocline. It swallowed the hook and injured it’s gills and was bleeding badly. It died on the surface and I grabbed it and tossed it to a greatful Bald Eagle. He had been watching me and must have figured I was a softy. I chucked the fish towards him and he picked it off the surface.

Nice!! Yeah that's one lake we haven't tried out yet. We will have to get over there soon and give it a shot.
