Local club had a trout contest yesterday for kids. The boy caught his limit in about an hour. We only kept one to measure, 16” brown, but it came up well short. The club put in some monsters and several were caught. Had a blast either way.

Finally got into some this evening.

Lost a monster today. Handed the rod to the boy, and it wrapped him around a rock.

This fly guy messed his back up last Thursday and wasn’t able to get out. I’ve been messing with the kids atv getting ready for his safety class Saturday. After that, I’m dedicating a few days for fishing.

You all have been busy. I’m headed out saturday, expect some pics.

Just bought a 14’6” canoe. I’m confused as to what registration is needed, if any at all. It will be unpowered, but I do plan to use it at state parks and pfbc launches. I think all I need is a launch permit, but am not sure if that is good at dncr lakes. Does anyone know for sure what is...

He’s got the fingers up!!

My boy did good. Ended up with 7 landed, and a bunch that got away. Some of his friends showed up at the same spot, and they ended up playing around for a few hours. Was a goos day.
