    No. Really won’t stand out correctly. I use either wire or heavy mono and tie it in.

    These are the original variations I usually tie of these streamers. To top is black polar ice fiber and the bottom is emerald green.(hard to see in the pic) These flys have produced some killer fish all across the state for me.

    They are size 2 hooks. The fly is about 4” total. Those are lead dumbbell eyes so it drops pretty quick

    This fish ate a size 22 zebra midge. Came in at 23”. I believe this was my first 20”+ fish on a size 20 or smaller fly!

    I have. Do well in the spring when the trout that hatched the year before are like 4” long. Some big browns really love them.
