Saw these guys outside a nursing home I visited Friday in a surprisingly urban area. Turned the car around, pulled in close. They looked and went about their business. No fear.

Urban area doesn’t stop them. They stand next to the roads and the car doesn’t scare them in my neck of the woods so to say. I set up and antler trap in my backyard and when putting the food down I’ll turn around and they scare the crap out of me cause they stand like 5 feet away from me.
They lay where they want and that’s in the yards of the housing plan. Not very much wooded area for them.

At least in my neck of the woods, their habitat has shrunk considerably, not much room left to roam.

I still have a little farm land left but no real big wooded areas but even then if you try to plant anything or have a garden good luck they munch everything

I’ve had a field full of bucks, house owners out feeding them, 2-3 cars stopped watching, neighbors kid triking in parking lot, and another neighbor then “sneak” up with a long lens camera. They could care less until he Snuck up, then “they gone”, had same happen with Bear, walk normal and you don’t exist, sneak and they run,
