Finally got into some trout. I was rain soak, caught and released this one at the very end. Said "thank you God for that" and called it good. Solid fish to start the season and 4 days off to get some more.

Got out with my son this morning. Good time getting a bit of everything. Smallie, pickerel, bluegills, perch, crappies and even a fallfish. Bite was a little slower. Water temp dropped 4 dergees since Wed.

Shiela was struggling with her allergies, so the old man and I got the boat out today (vac day) on Tobyhanna. It started out slow but I hooked this solid trout. After that it was a grind. In the end I had about 6-7 trout and about as many Pickerel, maybe a few more but all thin and small. Definitely a mixed bag on fishing this far but effort is paying off.

About 10, best was a 17” range 2-3 lbs ‘Bow, some fat Brookies in the mix. Only had an hour or two to fish though.

Fished Nockamixon this morning into early afternoon. I only generated 1 bite but I got ‘em.

I also rescued a young lady who got blown at least a half mile off course on her paddle board. It was WAY too windy for her to be out there today. She waved me down and asked for a lift as she could not paddle fast enough to make progress, she just kept going backwards. I got her and her board into the boat and safely delivered her to the docks. She was happy and I was happy to be able to help.

Got out this morning 7 -10:30 AM. on the Wissahickon and caught 10 trout, A lot were very small. Is anyone fishing water stocked by the Pleasant Gap hatchery. The fish in Pennypack from Huntsdale are all nice size.

Went for some carp and cats to see if they were biting. Nothing. Still to cold I guess.
