Just curious how far north you were. Going to check a local lake this week.

Nope not north but south. Looks like a lot of fish closer to shore staying in the sun. Warming up.

I tossed a topwater popper this evening, only a few splashy rises, in between the wind and waves. So there's some sign of life near shore weeds but not much up my way yet.

Well. Lord blessed us but it’s a grind. Water level up down and 80 degrees to 30 degrees in three days

My trend continues with very little to show for my fishing. I went Striper fishing yesterday and I only boated 1 and dropped another a couple of feet from the boat. Both were sub-legal and I only generated just a couple other bites. Waves and wind did not go as nicely as predicted, that seems to be a trend that I cannot get away from either.

The weather looks like we are going to finally have some consistency here forward and I cannot wait! I'm looking forward to hitting Blue Marsh either tomorrow or Tuesday to hopefully biting bass.
