I bought the schmuck catcher in the wee size. Can’t wait to try it Merrill Res. Fish are calling me.

I throw the "teeny" and "wee" sizes on the creeks around here with pretty good success. I have to look for TC's line though, I only have fresh water rated unicorn hair braid. That salt water stuff must be the shniznit.

They can be just because the spacing on the hooks are pretty close together I’ll just take the barbs off the rear hook.

Do u use pliers and compress the barbs? I found an area with large Rockies and wanted to try this there.

plyers,forcepts really anything to crush the barb just try not to dull the tip.

I like needle nose pliers for crushing barbs generally.

I've also used fishing pliers and they work, just not always as easy.

The fishing pliers with the split shot crushers can sometimes get into small trebles where other pliers can't.

Forceps often don't have the strength.

These work good if you have enough room they are pretty small over all.I really don’t de barb many hook I generally use micro barbs that hold but don’t rip a big hole when your trying to get them out.

I am similar. I like to debarb flies for gills.
