Only one fish for me today but it was a nice rainbow. Looks like something took a chunk of his tail fin though. Also got to see some baby geese.

Heavy rains must have cooled the water, it was a grind. One Pickerel, one perch off at boat and this crappie. It was worth it to net that trout for Shiela.

Night Prowling has begun. Only stayed a few hours. Left at 11:45 and temp was down to 45*. Got two walleyes. Nothing for size. This one about 19", the other only about 16", perfect eater size. He went in the livewell for a bit, then changed my mind and put it back. Bait is still out deeper. The eyes still seem to be holding close to where they spawned.

So I guess walleye are in season now. Gotta get out for them and get a couple.

Had a record day with the trouts, record being two 20+ inchers breaking me off, strong current, logs and too many hours working this weekend were the cause

I netted a few including a nice brown
